Why The Urhobo Pastors & Christian Professionals Forum?
1) Urhobo Pastors & Christian Professionals Forum is a meeting of native Urhobo pastors and select Urhobo Christian professionals, not minding if they speak the Urhobo language or not.
2) UPCPF seeks to assemble national & international Urhobo ministers of the gospel for the purpose of social integration and mutual development.
3) The official language of all UPCPF meetings, no matter the venue, shall be Urhobo and English. Where our respected Urhobo language is used, an English language interpretation will be made.
4) UPCPF shall operate intensively using the social media but still holds three annual physical meetings- two administrative meetings & one annual Urhobo gospel Conference/carnival.
5) The UPCPF Urhobo gospel carnival shall be a large gospel WORD & WORSHIP party where UPCPF pastors, their wives and children shall wear the Urhobo dressings, dance Urhobo gospel music, relish with the Urhobo traditional meals (Oghwo, amiede, ukodo, usin etc)
6) UPCPF shall provide a connectivity from where natural friendships will emerge and mutual social support will be served. It will be the duty of Members to naturally relate so as to attract beneficial reciprocity.
7) UPPF shall retain the Biblical tenets of eldership & fellowship with which to retain & include all native Urhobos, no matter their Urhobo dialects or cultural circumstances.
8) UPCPF shall not saddle itself with too many activities; it shall project its unique brand being the UPCPF Carnivals, Urhobo language & culture learning, fellowship & connectivity. UPCPF may cooperate with organisations with mutually beneficial values.
